Over the years, PLDC has had numerous fundraising events, including the Phantom Tea mailing, The Quarter Mile, Pony Up and numerous rummage sales.
Pony-Up 2010
Entertainment by “The Slow Ponies” was one of our most popular fundraisers for Project Literacy. It was held on May 14, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the Roseburg High School Rose Auditorium and the auditorium will never be the same.
Rummage Sale Success
On June 26 and 27, 2009 the sun shone brightly as we held our rummage sale fundraiser at the Hucrest Community Church. We had many volunteers who gave up their Friday and Saturday to load, haul, sort and sell a huge variety of items. We also sold Krispy Kreme doughnuts and drinks, which were a big hit.
